And she measures at 14-15 inches, head to tail. (36-38cm)

I would guess around a year, but so much depends on the care it has gotten up to this point. UVB, feeding, temps, and cage size will all play a factor in how big he (or she) is...

Thanks for the pics........In looking at the pic of her in the car, it looks like her head fat pads are sunken, also the thickness of the base of her tail is a little thinner than should be. She may be dehydrated and need to be "beefed" up a little.

What is she eating?
Where did you get her from? They didn't tell you how long they had her or about her beginnings?
Do you ever see her drink or do you give her fluids from a dropper?
What is her lighting?

I would guess that she's under a year, an adult is 18 mo. or older........she may be full grown, yet have not had a good balanced diet previously, so that's why she's smaller.

She is soooooooooo pretty, and I see a little color trying to peek out on her back, 8)

BTW........welcome to the forum! :blob5: :blob8:

Hi beardie osk! I feed her anything between 10-30 (depends how many she eats) adult brown crickets everyday, baby lettuce and I try feeding her apple slices but she doesn't compute with them unfortunately :\ and I've only just started to feed her mealworms.

They didn't tell me anything about her, although it may be my fault because I failed to ask :\. I give her drops of water with my finger on her nose everyday - every 2 days and I bathe her often so she can poo and hydrate. She has a 10.0 UVB bulb (the pig tail looking ones, not the long tube ones) and a basking light with the optimum requirements (she also has a heating mat). The pictures I've posted are a month old (except for the first one) and at the time, she was shedding and looked grey on her back without color. She shedding again and her back has come to light again also and you can see the beautiful orange stripes down her back and sides now.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the pig-tail bulbs aren't very good. Here is a link explaining it: [ Invalid URL Removed / p= t=65424 f=1 ].
Reptisun 10.0 TUBES are what you want. NOT reptiGLO 10.0.
Also, heat mats can be dangerous sense beardies don't sense heat from below. It can burn the beardie especially if it malfunctions.

Thanks for the concern spurlee! I will be changing the coil bulb to a tube immediately! :). Also, I don't think there will be much of a problem with the heat-mat, I really just want daisy to have a source of heat when the timers go off for the night.

I'm glad she getting those crickets, but I would stay away from mealworms, they can cause terrible impaction d/t the hard shell, and the protein is minimal. Greens are very important, ie: Collard, mustard, escarole are great staples, regular lettuce doesn't have much nutrition. There is a guide that all of us use here, put out by "beautiful dragons": http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/home.html

I agree with Spurlee01 about the lighting, coils are not good.......... for the tubes: Reptisun 10.0 is best, but then you also need a heat light as well. If you want the 2 in 1 bulb, the mega-ray is the best, or T-Rex MVB. These don't have to to be changed for 18 mo. whereas the Reptisun should be changed every 6 mo.
Great job with giving her fluids, and the baths.....such a sweetie!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
