Okay I've got her lights on finally but don't know how to position them I don't feel like the end of the uvb light should be up next to the heat lamp and I can't sit the heat lamp on the plastic part of the screen is it to close

Its good where its at -- as long as she can under it 8-10 inches -- she knows what light she needs so she will go to the one she needs

So so is it supposed to be 8 to 10 in from the top of her basking area cuz it's definitely not that far from her

Yes 8-10 inches from basking spot - if she can sit under it at different distances she will find the one most comfortable to her -- watch her behavior

It takes time for little ones to warm up to us, just have patience with her and don't get discouraged. As for the waving, she likely was seeing her own reflection in the glass.

Oh okay... I got a piece of diftwood washed it off real good with hot water and then baked it at 400 for 2 min I do believe she likes it

Hello,

She is very tiny, but looks good right now. As Karrie has suggested, the babies tend to do better with
their basking temperatures a bit higher, up to 110 but no higher. Always provide areas where she can
get out of the heat when needed.
Give her some time to adjust & I'm sure you will bond with her soon.
