Hi,

I am just experimenting with silkworms. I put them in a plastic box and now they laid eggs on the paper towel. What should I do now? I don't have an incubator. Thanks

now you let the eggs hatch ... don't do nothing, they will hatch in spring ... the baby silkworms are very tiny and are black in colour eheh

you put the eggs in the fridge for about 4 weeks and then take them out let them sit in room temp and they will soon hatch. make sure to have some mulberry mash for them (buy online)

Very easy to breed silks.

Thank you for the info. The eggs is still not hatch yet. It is almost 20 days now. Nothing happened just dark gray eggs.
It was in a plastic shoebox and stick to a paper towel, is there anything I can do to "expedite" the process?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
