I decited to make a place where ppl can post pics of they're viv! (mostly I want to see some cage designs, I am thinking of redecorating Komez's cage :mrgreen

Here ill start us off with Komez's viv!

i made mine based on the enclosure design i found on this site, it was this link

contrary to what it looks , it was easy to do, me an my fiance had a good time working together an making it. we got free plywood from his dad, an found everything we needed at home depot.
the only thing i changed was i put a plexi glass lookout on one side of the cage, instead of a vent. he likes that lookout an uses it to spy on the front door lol. i dont have it really decorated nice yet, i was thinking sprucing it up soon

this is the only one of my viv that i have. its a 30gallon tank that had fish in it. i used the fish tank hood (for the flouresent fixture) and the cutout for the fish tank filter acts as a vent then i have my blacklight heat bulb directly inside the tank (they cant get any closer than 7'' from it) because with it outside of the tank it was too cold in there. and their basking lamp comes from the back side and they lay on the back side of that fake log

i know my set up is kinda plain and basic but it works for now, when i get some cash i will turn the whole stand that the tank is in, into an enclosure. i might sell the 55g fish tank and make another enclosure up there for when i have to seperate the 2 babies

Here's Drake's viv. Its very basic right now, but there are additions very frequently. Its a 29 gallon tank. 1.5'x3'. Repti sun 10 mounted inside the tank. Right now I am experimenting with heat lighting. Currently I have a 50w halogen flood on the right heating his log basking area to about 103*. The left light is a 75w halogen. Heating a tile basking area to 100*. The cool side of the tank is floating around 75*. I have the floor of the tank lined with 6x6 ceramic tiles, they are an earthy sand stone color.

In the process of moving and crammed in one room for the time being but soon they will all be seperate back to their own vivs, have two more 6x2x2 and three 4xx2x2. What can i say my poopers are spoiled
