Shedding tail

Hey y'all, so Lewis's head and all four legs are going to shed anytime soon, and his tail is shedding right now. Just now he somewhat 'violently' whipped his tail like he was trying to get something off of it. Is this normal?

Hi, that sounds normal to me. Hes probably just trying to get rid of the shed himself. Mine does that as well. Or perhaps there was a cricket or feeder on his tail he was like back off buddy, not yet! :lol:
