The water isn’t deep it’s a bit warm not hot but not lukewarm I put my hand flat in the tub and fill the water to when it’s barely about to cover my hand my hand is about where their armpits are

Good, it sounds like the water isn't too deep. I really think would do better having their
own bath time.
