ReptiSun 10.0 T5 24 22” Fixture (HELP)

I just received the light and fixture that was suggested to me. I need help with mounting this to the tank.

The Sunblaster combo w/reflector is an excellent choice (this one https://www.amazon.com/Sunblaster-904296-NanoTech-Fixture-Reflector/dp/B00AKKUBDQ/ ) I use the sunblaze (or similar equivalent) with a reflector and it's excellent as well. That's what comes with the Arcadia combo from Light Your Reptiles http://www.lightyourreptiles.com/22-t-5-ho-fixture-high-output-with-arcadia-d3-12-ho-bulb/

These both provide excellent output and will last for many years. Well worth the investment.

I just received the light and the fixture you suggested but I am confused on how to mount it with the supplies I was given and there’s no instructions. I would appreciate the help from anyone.

The clips go onto the ridge on the top of the fixture and hold it in place. Then you can attach wire or hooks to the clips and suspend the fixture over the enclosure or hang it from a stand or the tank lid etc. I've read varying reports about whether or not the fixture will sit flat on a screen top with the reflector mounted.

I was told to put wire or string or even fishing line through the holes on clips and through the top of the screen on the enclosure but there’s nothing small enough and I don’t have any hooks that would work I don’t think.

For such fine mesh you may need to use something like braided fishing line which is strong and quite thin. If that doesn't work, you may need to cut into the mesh a little bit to make the opening large enough to pass a line or wire through. Otherwise you'll need to mount it outside the mesh and suspend it from something like a grow light stand (these can be purchased or built).
