This is gonna sound odd but I've seen a lot of pictures of beardies doing that, but my 6 month old Tatsu never does. She opens her mouth a bit when she's basking, but never that wide. What does it mean? Also I know this is completely the wrong place to ask this, but the picture just made me think of it. And she's a beautiful beardie :)

If I remember correctly, she was in the middle of a good yawn. I was fortunate that she didn't close her mouth when I opened the door.

I can never get a photo of Basil yawning :x he always stops
