Sadly the UVB does not work, he's getting basically no UVB at all currently. Only coil/compact bulb that even produces correct uvb is an Exo Terra 25-26 watt 200UVB coil bulb, and that has to be mounted at around 4-8 inches. Preferably 6 at the least.

You'll want to get a Reptisun T5 HO 10.0 UVB tube light so he/she can live a long healthy 15-20 years without a calcium deficiency, MBD, and other problems that comes with improper lighting.

When you get the proper bulb make sure to mount it where its over the basking area right behind or in front of the basking bulb so when he basks he'll get UVB as well.

The inside setup looks okay for his age, of course you'll have to remove some of it as he ages to provide proper room or get a larger tank like a 75 gallon that would suit all his needs rather than just thermoregulation.

Ok, I got the tube light you suggested. I actually already had it but I didn’t like it because I have no way of hanging it. I didn’t realize the lights I had were so bad! Is this better?

It is better... I have the same fixture that I use for my ball python however it does not have a reflector. I believe you can use tin foil around it to fix that problem temporarily.

Can you move it over the basking spot beside the heat lamp?

I move from it as close to it as I can but I can’t put it under obviously

Can you mount the tube somewhat like that?
With the heat lamp in the front or back and the tube behind or in front of it.

Ok I moved it behind the basking light. But now the right side doesn’t have any UVB. My main concern is that the screen may be blocking out all the UVB from the tube

Ideally you want a gradient, a gradient of heat and uvb.
So you'd position the heat lamp and UVB together to create a ideal basking spot with the rest of the tank having low to no levels of UVB if the beardie wants to escape to those areas.

I prefer a longer tube light, like ones that go a little over half or cover it all.

With the ones that cover it all I provide hides, multiple hides of all sorts to get away from the uvb and escape to low levels as well.

With ones that go a little over half it's perfect, they'll have a ideal basking spot and in middle most likely they can perch themselves and get uvb while not basking as well.

If your worried about it you can mount it inside fairly easily, just get some zip ties or wire.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
