That is awesome that they would do that. Gives me hope for humanity that not everyone is only in it for the money! just curious but what vet are you seeing? Nice job on his care glad it's going good.

i go to VCA Covington Animal Hospital his name is dr.walls and he is the best guy ever he has been seeing my two for 2 years now and is always a call away

well we are back from the vet and...


he gained 10 grams!!!

all in just a week the vet gave him another dose of fluids (for free) and told us to back next week some time

Glad to hear he is gaining weight!! In the video he sure is lapping up that food!

Isn't that right!?!?! And the mother said he was just old and they tried everything...and I knew I smelled BS. I don't think any beardy would look that bad just because their old. The fact that he's responding to treatment is proof in itself that he was being neglected in his previous home.

Being old is no excuse, my BD is 14 years old and he doesn't look like that! He may sleep more than most and not be a voracious eater but he is still healthy!

Ah, PeTA might not be the right way to go with this. They have a policy about keeping domesticated animals, as in, it's a huge no no. Or it was when I was a member. God only knows how they'll spin it.
