We had a beardie and her name was Lagertha, from the vikings movie. On which sadly, she passed a few days now. We noticed that the first parts that contracted/hardened were her eyes, fingers/arms and her snout but the rest of the body remained soft.

She's a special beardie to us and we're thinking on how we can preserve her. What are your thoughts on preserving her on a jar full of rubbing alcohol? or should we just stick with formaldehyde?

Hi Apogona, I'm so sorry to hear about your beardie. What a difficult time it must be for you! I couldn't find anything in previous threads about preservation techniques so I did a google search.
