Pinched Beardie's Tail

I accidentally pinched my beardie's tail in the door to her tank, and the very tip fell off. The end of her tail now looks like it might be bloody. Is this a major problem or will it just heal over time and be okay?

Sometimes the piece will just fall off but there's always the chance that infection might spread up the tail. Keep a close eye on it and definitely see a reptile vet if it gets worse. It might be a good idea to get to a vet anyway to see if they want to prescribe antibiotics. Hope everything turns out O.K. !

Keep it clean. Dapping iodine with a q-tip every day will help. Don’t panic, these things happen all the time.
