pheonix worms

do pheonix worms turn into anything?
cause i know mealworms are larva for like some kind of beatle and its disgusting.
but i dropped a pheonix worm in my carpet, in my room, and couldnt find it.
should i be worried? or no?

haha hard to tell. maybe, maybe not. they are pretty durable little things and may actually live to pupate, but not likely. either way, you have nothing to worry about. Soldier fly sounds intimidating, but they are harmless. I actually hear they are quite slow for a fly, so it should be easy to kill should it actually make it to that stage!!

haaha yeahh its not even like an adult worm, just one of the smaller ones.. so i think im good
but i remember when i got my first bearded when i was like 8, i would just leave the meal worms in the cage and they would tunnel in the sand and then like a week later id find a beatle in his cage. oh my god, it was so gross.

and that is why..i will never feed my dragons roaches, cant stand roaches or beatles.
i could care less about crickets and worms. but roaches, ew! :shock:
