odd food habits

I have notesed that Keepper will not eat dering the day at all, he wates till about 2am to eat, has any one ells notised there beardeds behaving simuler?

What are you offering him at 2 am? Are his lights still on then?

HIs lights are off, he just eats his food i gave him in the morning then.

Take out whatever feed he doesn't eat right away. He will learn to eat when the food is given to him. Maybe it will help him turn his internal clock around too, I don't think they're supposed to be nocturnal.

I'm nocturnal but my beardie is not. I keep the livingroom light on but turn off his lights and he's always consistently out like a light at midnight, regardless of the noise and movement I make at night. Point is, bearded dragons are not nocturnal. They should be sleeping when it's dark for them, or when they perceive it's night time. If he eats at night when he should be sleeping he may feel too stressed during the day so he won't eat until it's night time, or maybe there's something wrong with him, he may be sick..?

I take out any excess food before I turn out the lights because I don't want to encourage mold or rotting. Maybe you can do the same and encourage him/her to start eating when he/she should be?

With him it is hared to get hime to eat usholy. When we got him he was under wate and had MBD, and when with out food for over a month, he would even spit up food we forse feed him. So we just always left the food in his cag at night so he would have food avalubel 24-7. He has now goten to the pont when i tern on his light in the morning he gos under his log, and back to sleep for about 6hr's, the only time he will stay up in the morning is if I take him out and place him in the windoe and place his light on him there. He has started to eat in the late evening thatkes to a new treet he found and cant resist. The cat treet temptations chicken flaverd, he will run for them and that is somthing in a year i have naver seen him do!
