nose plug qustion

This is the first time i saw his nose plugged up...pretty sure its a nose plug bc his mouth and arond his nose is shedding...how long will it take to come out?? What should i do to help it come out quicker!? Thanks guys!

I know sometimes with my little dude he needs help all I do is take my fingernail and catch under the edge and gently help of out

As long as both of them aren't stopped up, gently massaging the skin should help. That's the most you can do. Actually picking off the skin before it is ready to come off is risky. You can have premature skin underneath that can possibly get infected. I may sound paranoid, but my Zeusy is a pain in the bum with the shedding. Normally i'd say to give your beardie a warm bath, but I don't want your little one inhaling water.

Beardies get very moody when they shed, so give them time if you can. :mrgreen:

Richard gets huge shed plugs in his nose, so my husband gets them out for him. We can tell he's uncomfortable because of the way he holds his mouth, so if the plug is sticking out substantially, say a couple of millimeters, my husband "picks his nose" if it doesn't seem attached or offer any resistance. Richard is always so much happier and active after that. Some of them are almost half an inch long!

Thanks guys!! Yeah when hes running around he opens his mouth bc he cant breath trough his nose ....poor little guy :0( hes miserable :0(

I have manually removed Bogas nose shed also, just make sure it has no resistance and out it comes!
