need help sexing my beardie!!

hey everyone my beardie is about 4 months or so and i cant figure out if its a he or she
anyhelp will be appreciated

It's hard to tell from those pic's though if I were to make a guess I'd say female.

i just lifted his/her tail and it deff appears to be a single bulge however there is a slight taper bulge on both ends of the bulde going toward the tip of the tail

also is it safe to feed her as i assume its a girl red worms and night crawlers

my son named our beardie fuzzy steve so i guess shes a boy trapped in a girl body now LOL

also is there a way i can tell the age as the people i bought her off of werent the most reliable sources thanks again and this site is awesome

There really is no way to tell age without actually knowing the hatch date.
No to the red worms and nightcrawler.

i havent fed my beardie any worms yet i was curious because my buddy has worm bins with red worms and nightcrawlers is there any reason why these are bad and what worms would you recommend

I always heard you don't sex a dragon until about 6 months of age. Definately after 8 months you should be able to tell for sure

For 1 the RW's and NC's don't have the correct nutrition for them. I'm not sure if they are actually bad though. I'll have to google it see what I can find out. Some of the other worms that are used because they have better nutrition are;
Silkworms
Phoenix worms
Butter worms
Horned worms
Super worms **** can pose a problem in beardies under 15 inches in length.
Wax worms ****should only be given as a treat just a couple a week as they are like feeding your child a candy bar as breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Actually some beardies you will beable to sex much earlier that others yet some may take as long as 6 months to sex. All but once or twice, I have been able to correctly sex my babies by 8 weeks. Remember if you buy a beardie from a breeder they will sell you whatever sex your looking for at 6 to 8 weeks of age. However Alan every once in awhile there will be that one out of a clutch that will keep you guessing until 6 months or so. :roll: :wink:
