Hey beanie- has Jess been pooping okay since this all happened?

No i'm getting worried about her she has a lil lump in her belly buts it's moving down....she was never much of a pooper to be honest.

What are her basking temperatures?
I would be giving her warm baths at least daily if not twice daily. Also, try giving her some applesauce with a drop of olive oil to help lubricate her system. You may want to keep her off of live feeders and just feed baby food until she poops. Hopefully Tracy will pop on here and let you know for sure, but I wouldn't give her any more live feeders for now. I've found that feeding babyfood while they are on a heating pad wrapped in a towel does wonders. Do keep us updated.

She pooped! so i'm glad about that however i found a long bit of lizard skin in it so now i know what happened. I feel rubbish had to relive the day i lost him all over again.

I just really miss the lil guy he was one of my favourates tried biting me before he was even out the egg was so cute. Always exploring and alot bolder than the others. He even warmed up to me when i started hand feeding him and fell asleep on my hand. The last morning i saw him he was scamping about as usual and i picked him up and gave him a kiss before work and he didnt even flinch or try and bite me.

Hi Angie,

I'm not sure what is used but I know babies are often marked with number and color to show what clutch & order they were hatched from. It sheds off, no permanent damage...

I'm glad Jess is OK and at that the rest of the babies are benefitting from that sad experience... though I'm sorry that happened to you...

Omg I totally agree that picture saying morning mom with the three of them is ADORABLE and I like the one with him saying darn you found me too..lol those are really cute babies and for being a first time breeder you did very well. You have to realize these are animals and they have natural instincts as well there are a lot of animals that eat their young and you were just one of the unlucky ones. I am very sorry, but just take care that the rest don't get near BIG Mean Momma now
