MegaRay Question

I have always used the T Rex Active Heat 100watt MVB in my viv. I need to replace it soon and I want to get a MegaRay. But I need to know what watt mega ray will work in my viv. I have the typical 4x2x2 crossfire type viv.

The 100W Megaray would work well for your enclosure.
I don't know if you are aware, but Reptileuv issued a recall on their bulbs due to some of them being defective. As of yet they are not selling or distributing any new ones. They have been steadily working on the problem and hope to get new bulbs out again soon. I am excited to say that I talked to John at Reptiluv this morning and they have fixed the problem with the Megarays. I don't know how far out they will be on new orders, but hopefully it won't be too long if you decide to switch over

I will agree with the above post saying they got the bugs worked out with the mega ray. i ordered one a few weeks back, knowing they were on "backorder" and received it in the mail thursday of last week. i have to say, my beardies love the mega ray!

My enclosure is 4'L X 2'W X 3'T. I use the 100watt,with my lights inside and my temps are great! im getting around 112-114 at the hottest point on the basking spot, high 90s everywhere else, but still cool around 81 at the bottom of the cage
