Izzy is my new addition to the home. He is a 2 year old male. He measures 20" from tip to tip. We had a rough start but Izzy seems to be coming around now thanks to the great advice from people on the health forum!!!

Izzy was in the 10 gallon tank and Chip was watching him no the cat did not eat any crickets but he enjoyed them moving in the tank. We only got a few crickets to try but he ate 18 the first night and 13 the second night I fed the crix gut load food before hand. I actually sprinkle his squash with the calcium he seems to have no issue eatting it that way. It turns out that I am still allergic to handleing greens so we swaped greens out for bok choy any issues with that?

nope.. bok choy is fine.. if he's eating that fast try that lindasgonebuggie site or hungrylizard.com has 500 lg. crix and you can get them shipped to you (maybe $2- more w/ a heat pack depending on where you live/how cold it is already) for about $15- and they always come live and do stand behind their feeders.. i've used them a lot!! :p :p

p.s. what are you using to gutload your crix.. my vet said nothing w/ a corn base as it will build up in your BD body and MAY affect the organs-- kidneys/liver.. just an FYI i learned a bit too late w/ my last BD and thought i'd pass along that info.. :p

Now that I know he will eat them I am deff going to order him some I will have to check out the second site I have looked at the lindasgonebuggie and they have good prices! Zoo med natural cricket care plus veggies, lettuce, apple and iguanna pellets. Is that ok?

Ok so today after bath time I had Izzy hanging out with me on the couch low and behold Izzy's tail is shedding! He is now back in his house but he is acting irritated and I see that is normal my question is how often is it safe to give him a bath or is misting better to help him shed? I live in Florida and we are still in the 80's so being to cold I dont think is an issue.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
