meal worm colony start

Just started it and wondering do I need to dig around to find the pupea or will the worm come to surface for this process? if i have to dig around to find...when and how often?? Thanks..

Mealworms aren't really good nor nutritious feeders for beardies. Depending on how old your beardie is the hard exosekeleton can impact and kill your dragon :(

Crickets, dubia roaches, phoenix/repti/calci-worms, superworms (for beardies 18+inches) and silkworms make great staple diets.

I have all those as well..he loves mealies never has problems digesting....again...how to I harvest the pupa

why are you harvesting them, to put them in a separate container prior to becoming beetles?

if you leave them be, they'll turn into beetles on their own.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
