Hello! :)
You'll want to keep the basking lamp and UVB tube on at the same time. You can even put both on the same timer! (that's what people usually do) :) Dragons need an average of 12 hours of both UVB & light per day to stay healthy; the maximum amount of "daylight" they should have is 14 hours. Each dragon is a bit different though; some may start to get tired sooner than the 14 hour mark. For example, my UVB & basking light are currently on a timer so that my dragon gets 13 hours of "daylight", it's what I've found works the best for him. :)

Do not put on a night light of any kind. It will keep him awake. But you should not let it get that cold in his cage. I would recommend a ceramic heat emitter for nighttime heating. It produces no light, only heat, so it will keep your dragon warm but not keep him awake. Keep in mind that dragons have full color vision, so despite what some pet store employees will tell you, they CAN see the light from a red or blue bulb and these bulbs are NOT appropriate for beardies at any time, but especially not at night. It will keep them awake just as much as any other light would.

You can have a lot of fun with beardie color vision, actually -- mine has favorite colors that he reacts to strongly if he sees them. Red, orange, and green are the big ones. Yellow is less exciting to him but he still tends to notice it. He generally ignores blues and violets/purples, but sometimes I've seen him pay odd amounts of attention to something blue, too. It probably has to do with the colors of the food he tends to get. XD He doesn't get much blue or purple food but lots of stuff that's red, orange, yellow, or green.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
