Whenever I take my beardie of of his enclosure he never really walks around. Hell just sit it one spot, and eventually just puts his head on the carpet.

Do you give him anything to interact with? Try putting him in a window sill and see if he enjoys watching outside. Is his appetite good? Is he active within his enclosure?

Hell move alittle within his enclosure but not much. And his appetite is very good.

Hello,

Is he active inside of his tank?
Are you using a good UVB light for him also?
If he has a good appetite, he must not feel ill right now. You can post some pictures of
him & of your tank setup just so we can be sure everything is all setup properly for him.

Hey. I'll post the pic of his enclosure. He is in a 40, but right next to me I have a 75 gal that just needs to be finished setting up. His basking spot is normally around 106. The humidity is 48. I can't get it to go down in that tank. I feed him green every other day and crickets the other days. I feed him once a day.

Here is a pic of her. Her belly looks kinda weird and right under her armpit there is a bulge than it dips down and starts her belly. I don't know if that could be something bad. Also, I'm used to say "he" because I just found that he was actually a "her".

How old is he ?

I suspect the issues is perhaps one or a combination of :
>>> diet (insufficient calories)
>>> UVA (inadequate levels)
>>> temperatures in viv (too low)
>>> he may just be very lazy

So lets looks at these systematically :

What is his feeding schedule ?
What are you feeding him ?
How many live insects per feed ?

UV issues please answer as thoroughly as you can :
>>> is the uv rated AT LEAST 10%UVB ?
>>> is it a COMPACT (curly globe & WATTAGE ?
>>> or a T8 tube ?
>>> or a T5 tube ?
>>> how old is the compact or T8 tube or T5 tube ? == they decay in performance over time.
>>> or an MVB ?
>>> how old is it ?

VERY IMPORTANT : what is the brand ?
==Not all UVB compacts, tubes and MVBs are created equal or as well.
>>> is it sitting ontop a mesh top ?
== BAD (will cut UV by at least 25%) == I recommend mounting UVB globes and tubes UNDER the lid.

>>> how far from basking spot ?
== there are optimal distances for all UVB lights from the beardie see Arcadia Website for a good guide (a good UVB for beardies at their basking spot is about 180 microW UVB / sqcm )

VIV TEMPERATURES ?
>>> daytime
.......warm zone
.......basking spot
...... how are you measuring your temperatures ?
TOO COLD = SLEEPY DRAGON

I've had him since dec. 15th. I feed him at night, not on a set schedule though. I feed him 25 crickets every other day and greens the other days. It is a reptisun 10.0 and it's a T8. I just got a new one yesterday but I had the other one in since the day o got him. It is on top of a mesh lid, Idk how to mount it inside. The basking spot is 95-100 and I have an infrared thermometer thing. And the lowest it gets over night has been 65.
