Is this what they look like pre-shed? Diablo's tail has a cloudy layer of skin, but no peeling yet and the rest of him looks normal?

Yup, it's about to shed. Mine starts with the tail too. You should bathe them more...I bathe mine 1-2 times a day when they are shedding.

His tail has been like that a few days so I am soaking him twice a day. How long does it usually take for the whole body to shed?

He wasn't eating Sun and Mon, so I gave him a little babyfood and today, bam! He ate about 10 crickets, some must greens and red bell pepper right out of my hand.

I was so excited today because after the baby food, he all of a sudden trusts me enough to take food from my hand.

I have only had him 5 days......
