is this tail rot?

So Riley`s tail is looking strange I noticed it while giving him a bath. here`s a pic

Is he kept with another bearded dragon? It almost looks like a bite injury to me. I'd probably soak it, put antibiotic ointment on it, and take him to a vet to see if he needs farther treatment.

well he is my only reptile and I gave him ointment. you don`t think he will lose the tail do you?

I'm not sure. Hopefully someone who has seen this will reply. I do know that the very tip of mine's tail is crooked from a past nip, which happened before I got her. She didn't end up losing the tip, though. I would be careful with that because you don't want it to move up higher than it has to if it is a problem.
