Do bearded dragons go into heat? Breeding has never been an interest of mine, but I have a female and two male adults and i swear she's sitting in her cage giving off pheremones because my boys are going bonkers and trying to get at her.

Do bearded dragons go into heat? Breeding has never been an interest of mine, but I have a female and two male adults and i swear she's sitting in her cage giving off pheremones because my boys are going bonkers and trying to get at her.

In my experience males without regular contact with females will go crazy anytime they see one, or otherwise finds out one is nearby. It's the male who initiates mating, and the female who determines whether she wants to consummate or brush him off.
