I have recently bought over 1000 super worms and they are starting to smell, plus the smell of my Bearded Dragon cage isn't helping. How can I get rid of these bad Odors? Please help!
Clean them? lol I bought 1000 superworms about a month ago now and I still have hundreds. A couple days ago I was forced to clean out their container because of the smell (HORRIBLE ammonia and rotting smell) so I went through, picking out all of the worms and putting them into a temporary container, I dumped the nasty poo and substrate they were in and cleaned out the container, used ripped up paper towel as the new substrate, and dumped the supers back in! Definitely made a huge difference. As for your beardie's tank...it really shouldn't smell unless there is a fresh poop. I clean out the poo as soon as I see it. Then the tank should get a good all over cleaning about once a week (I usually do on the weekend). If you are using sand, I recommend getting rid of it as it is impossible to clean properly.
You probably need to clean out the super container more often. I deep clean once a month and don't really have bad smells. You also need to make sure there is tons of ventilation and enough room for the amount of supers your buying, so mold doesn't grow. I only buy a couple hundred at a time but I have been using a shoe box size rubber-maid container, I cut a large hole in the lid and stapled a screen to it. They should be in some sort of bran substrate, because they need to eat or they will eat each other. I use oatmeal and put in a few baby carrots every couple of days for moisture and clean out the old veggies, and any dead worms if I see any.
Your dragons tank shouldn't really smell; clean poop quick, and if he is on loose substrate I would change that to tile, non-stick shelf liner, paper towel, newspaper. The loose substrate harbors bacteria making the whole enclosure smell bad.
I breed crickets and superworms, plus am starting to raise hornworms myself. My house has a bug room with two huge cricket tubs, a 10 gallon hatching tank for crickets, 4 large breeding containers for supers, a shoebox full of supers to feed, another container of micro supers to feed, six hornworm habitat cups and a shoebox rearing hatchling hornworms, plus morph containers. This is in addition to three bearded dragon vivs. The only time anything smells is when there is fresh poop in one of the vivs. I can't understand why you have problems? My advice would be to clean stuff - preferably daily.

Wow that is crazy, so many bugs! My beardies wish I had that many bugs for them!! Especially the hornworms I agree, they really don't smell at all as long as you keep everything clean. I let my supers go WAY too long without cleaning them (I heard they don't stink at all because they don't eat/poop....HA yeah right, where in the world did I hear that?!) so that's why they had a gross smell at the time lol
if theres moisture in the cup it might be mold starting or just urine thats wet you can dump the oats out and replace with fresh that should do it also venilate the cup as much as you can

Are there dead superworms in your container? I found that the dead ones really start to make the whole thing smell horrible. As soon as you clean out the dead ones you'll notice a huge improvement

One word, Febreeze. Or you go with the long and proper route and sanitize it's who enclosure and replace any used substrate if tile is not used. Let it out for half a day or so.
