How many meals a day?

Like the topic says, how many meals a day should i be giving my about 2.5 month old beardie? Right now i'm currently at 3 a day. is this fine?

If three a day means as many bugs as your dragon can eat in ten or fifteen minutes then you are good. Good luck on the dragon and I hope this helps!

It sure did! wanted to make sure i wasn't over feeding him . he has a big appetite

Baby beardies have enormous appetites! My Nim is eating us out of house and home. He eats more than our seven birds! (small birds, of course) And he is just a tiny thing!

You could try putting some phoenix worms in with his greens. He may "accidently" get a mouthful of greens that way.

I can't help you on that. I have a good boy. One day I gave him a salad of canned crix and dandelion greens. He ate everything! Then he basked for two hours straight after that :lol:

Mine was eating greens at first but then he kinda gave up

That's fine and at 4 months you could cut down to 2 times a day.

The beardies actually decide on their own when they are ready for just one feeder feeding a day because during their 2nd feeding, they hardly eat any live food. It usually happens at about 9 to 12 months old if that helps. Best to let them decide on their own though.
