I have been looking around for health ins. for my beardie and my leo gecko, any suggestion? I am leaning on VP Insurance.

Did you already verify that VPI covers reptiles?

From past experience, VPI isn't a very good insurance company. They didn't reimburse me for any of the routine visits or vaccinations (for a dog).

Look into ASPCA. I was told by a coworker that they have a very good insurance program, but not sure about reptiles though.

We have VPI for Speedy and Zoom Zoom. They don't cover general checkups. This is only for emergencies/accidents or sudden illnesses. I did ask them about checkups and they told me they don't cover checkups, unless it's part of an illness. We have this on Speedy and Zoom in case of an injury to them, because it would have covered a lot of Redrock's injury that cost us close to $300.
