Half of the tail is dark?

My beardie's tail is half dark and there is a little notch at the end. Will he lose his tail?!!

Most beardies have darkening toward the tail end. Sometimes it's going in to shed, other times it's just part of the color.

I wouldn't worry your beardie probably got bopped by one of its tank mates when he/she was a baby. my big guy has the same thing - his tail darkens at the end and there's a little notch by the tip. he's never shown signs of it giving him a problem. just adds a little more personality.
