this is for my new little beardie girl..which i actually have yet to get,i'm picking her up saturday.I believe she is a year and a beatiful pastel color.Once i get her,i will be posting lots of pictures of my new baby!so...yay!

i'm very excited. for the past three weeks maybe i've been working on a brand new tank for Gypsy. it's about 4 foot long and 21 inches tall,made with beautiful furniture plywood my dad had lying around.we got the tile today which is fantastic and perfect...we're going to polyurethane the entire tank to seal it and make it stronger and prettier looking. when it's done and bolted to my bedroom wall i'm going to take pictures...Gypsy's still kinda leary of it when i put her in the frame to see how she looks in it. we got some trim to make part of the top pretty...and hide some stuff that we didn't like much.heh...me and my dad are very proud of the work...and my dad's debating on making a business out of building tanks and cages,for any pet owner...which would be fantastic cause he's one of the most awesome well practiced woodworkers i've seen.if it weren't for my dad,i'd be buying this tank and spending a lot more money than i am.

That's great that you and your dad are building an awesome tank for Gypsy! What a lucky dragon I'm sure she will realize that too once she gets more used to the new cage! Its great that your dad is able to.do nice woodworking! I took a woodworking class in college and had a lot of fun! But I wouldn't trust myself to build anything like a dragon enclosure there would be no straight lines anywhere hehe

Oh your so fortunate that you have your dad to help you with building the viv, (a touch of jealousy here). :wink: I'm sure it'll be great, can't wait to see it, Gypsy will love it!

i know how fortunate i am...the tank,or Gypsy's Condo as we call it in the house now<curtsey of my mom when she saw it today> is looking gorgeous,and only needs some coats of polyurethane and the have the plexiglass inserted where they'll go,and add wire screen to the top holes...then,my pretty dragons new home will be done and bolted to the wall!^-^can't wait to get rid of that aquarium.
