Hi Nahuelarg,

As far as good exotics vets, I would try Como Park Animal Hospital in St Paul, try and make an appt with Dr. Casey, he is the exotics specialist and I had a good experience with him when I took Sartharion in.

There's also Valley View Pet Hospital in Burnsville, and if you don't mind making the drive I would recommend them over Como Park. Prices are a little better and they specialize in exotics so all of the staff is really knowledgeable. You'll also get $10 off your bill for being a first time customer. I brought my female in a couple weeks ago when she had a ruptured egg inside of her and they did a great job.

There might be more around the Twin Cities but these are the two that I am familiar with.

Hello,

Good luck.

Thanks for your answer Tracie! That's the first site I checked, but the problem is that it is very outdated. Some vet don't live in MN anymore and some don't work on the places listed in the site.

Thanks for your help Jen! Do you know more or less how much they charge you in price of Valley View Pet Hospital? I don't mind the drive if the prices are a little better than Como Park. Last time I asked in Como Park they were charging $70 for the visit and $45 for the fecal.

Yea that is the problem with Como :( My fee was also $70 although I don't remember the fecal being that expensive, they must have raised the price since last year.

Valley View's exotic fee was $57.85. I'm not sure how much their fecals are since besides that all Daedalus had was 2 x-rays and some antibiotics, and that's the only time I've been there so far. Another downside for them is their weekend hours are pretty meh whereas Como is open regular business hours I think on weekends.

I love Valley View! I take my exotics there, and I also observed there for 2 years. :) Their fecals were $24 last time I had one done on Dudley.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
