Good Dimming Thermostat (AUS)

Whats a good dimming thermostat that you know of or have had experience with that is available in Australia

What would you use it for?
On/off thermostats are only good for controlling non-visible heat sources like CHE, heat pads and radiant panels.

I think also that type measures air temps, not surface temps. Wich is fine if you use something like a radiant heat panel for a snake, not so much if you use a basking lamp for a dragon.

yes, after a bit more research on thisone I have decided not to get it and am now looking at a Dimming thermostat

Not sure .... but you run of the mill domestic in-line dimmers are probably all you need , you will just need a sparky to wire up the circuit.

, probably cheaper to buy from UK and simply buy a UK-AUS adapter plug (we both use 230VAC 50Hz)
