Whats a good dimming thermostat that you know of or have had experience with that is available in Australia

On/off thermostats are only good for controlling non-visible heat sources like CHE, heat pads and radiant panels.
I think also that type measures air temps, not surface temps. Wich is fine if you use something like a radiant heat panel for a snake, not so much if you use a basking lamp for a dragon.
