Thought I would share George's (my rescue dragon) Halloween VIV. Hubby and I went a little crazy at Michaels today...lol

Nice, Its funny I never really thought about decorating my vivs for the holidays. Ive decorated my fish tank by not my BD vivs. I think Ill start doing that too.

Is that fake wood flooring in there? Does you BD move around ok on it?

Hi Peter...
No. Its not real wood. Its laminate flooring. Glued down. The flooring has little tiny grooves in it. George is a rescue, and doesnt have claws on his back feet, and he manages ok. I watched him climb up the ramp tonight. So, so far, so good. Id love to see our dragons cage decorated. Arent we pathetic??? lol

Thanks to Heather and Bryan (Monica&Chandler) we have the same flooring in 3 of our viv's it's awesome we are looking to buy some to put in the other viv's that aren't tiled already. It looks really nice like a hard wood floor with all of the grains. We didn't glue ours down just cut it to fit tightly and so far none of the edges have curled up. I think it's been in there for about 6 months now.

Michael's is a great place for beardie furniture, decorations, and I also bought some really neat 12 x 12 inch squares of decorative paper to put as backing.

My next stop will be Pier1 Imports. :idea:

Oh, that is absolutely hilarious! How darling. I was thinking of doing something decorative and/or buying a costume for my baby Peanut, but the boyfriend gives me the death stare and says no, lol. Well, we'll see about that.. :mrgreen:

Thanks FW, I come and I go. Been busy after Ike came through.

The wife and I went to Michaels today and spent about 50$ on Halloween decor. I had a hard time remembering what Heather and Bryan had put in their viv. After I bought the stuff,(which was on sale) and brought it home, I realized I got some of the same stuff H&B got. Sorry H&B or M&C whichever you prefer!

I'm gonna take a before and after picture and post them in this thread, I think it would be fun, if others did the same. Thanks for the idea HBMC

OK Heather- I'm not sure if we have a step to cover this part of your addiction. :laughhard: Or does this even come under the same addiction? Definatly an interesting concept. I think I'll wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The kids will love having another place to decorate. Thanx

Oh yea... you can recycle it. Put it up after Halloween, and use it next year. Yea... thats it.

Im already on the look out for fall colored stuff, and Thanksgiving stuff. Just cant wait.

My house is under (almost constant) remodle, and I have NOTHING on my walls in my front room, but my dragons cage.......ROCKS!!!!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Ok I was finally able to get the majority of the viv decorated.

Well, that was fun, I hope more people decorate and post their pictures.

I know, I know, 2 BDs one viv..Exception not the rule, they have lived together for over 4 years.
