energy saver Coil Lights for extra lights

Are those regular energy saver lights okay to use with a MVB? I need some extra light for my enclosure. Thanks

Im guessing your talking about just a regular 13w cfl for example. Shouldnt be a problem, they can give off a nice bright light which brings out colors

Make sure to get the "daylight" variety, roughly 5000-5500k color temperature. These will better approximate natural sunlight for your lizards, and will go a long way towards stimulating feeding and basking behaviors. This bright light is also good for eye health, as it keeps your animal from looking into the MVB for long periods.
