I am off of work for the next 3 weeks with a broken ankle...it sucks, I can't do anything except lay or sit around and watch t.v. or be on the computer... I hope everyone feels better quickly!!

Thanks...yeah, I actually broke it 3 weeks ago, but it didn't show up on xray. I was off work for the first week, and was released to go back to work. I worked two weeks, knowing it had to be broken because it hurt soooo bad to be walking on it, finally I went back to the Dr., and he ordered a bone scan and sure enough, it is fractured in two places! So, he put me in a cast, and I'm off work. Feels better now atleast as long as I stay off of it.

Im sure stablizing those broken bones and realigning them helps to ease the pain immensely. ive never broken anything but did dislocate my right hip badly when I was 12 and ended up in traction for almost 2 weeks. so can imagine how you feel

Yeah, it is no fun no being able to do anything though....I'm sure it is better than being sick and throwing up though I sure hope you feel better quickly and your lupus calms back down. I'm sending get well wishes your way!!

I feel terrible, I fell asleep and just got my babies fed supper an hour and a half late which means lights out at 8:30. Makes me feel bad I slept thru their supper hour at 5. Told hubby to wake me up at 8:30 if I fall back to sleep so I can put them both to bed. Still sick..temp is climbing was 100.1 now 101.7. and chilled to the bone but refuse to bundle up. they say dont do that anymore as chills are the bodies mechanism to combat the fever. Have a light sheet over me but dang Im so cold and shivering, teeth chattering with this fever. But, anyway I feel really bad about feeding them so late...no matter how I feel I should keep them on thier schedule..bad beardie mommy bad! gonna try to eat some ramen noodles...its bland enough I may be able to keep it down.

I'm sorry you slept through they're dinner hour. I got Vash some squash so maybe he can have it for morning and evening.
Just squash and water are the ingredients so nothing bad...I really do hope you feel better soon. It's really hard to do your things
when you feel so bad.

It is when right now all I wanna do is sleep to get rid of this crud. MY babies are in bed..they only basked an hour but for one night I think they will be ok. Geico was ready for bed..was on his vine which is his signal to put him to bed...Emily was already on her dolphin so just covered her up. Now im in my bed with the chiller channel on tv..24 hour non stop horror movies and old 50s and 60s shows that i love.

So jealous! I want the chiller channel but sadly our cable doesn't carry it I have to order it.
No money TO order it so I stick with what channels have what. get well soon.
