Emmett, EMILIO, Emma..RIP sweet Emily

well once again emily has decided to crawl out of her little hammock and fall alseep on mr dolphin. I think she feels safe on it so i just left her there and dropped a blankie on her and tucked it around her. On another thought..weird sleeping positions, something occurred to me. I have to wonder if babies and adults sleep in weird positions as a instinct. Seems like many conform to the environment when they sleep thus draping in strange positions, or contorting to hide from nighttime predetors like owls or other nocturnal predetors. The cotortions and draping causes them to blend in making it hard to see them at night since they are not nocturnal. Just another one of my thoughts about the whys of things

Well its another day, still sick as a dog but at least the throwing up has stopped for now but dang my throat is sore from coughing and my ribs hurt. Fever I think broke sometime during te night, guess I will make up some honey with lemon for my throat after my babies are taken care of. Emily stayed on her dolphin all night last night, was so cute all covered up wth her head and little hands nestled into the tail of the dolphin. Cant see Geico in his hammock...hes burrowed so far into his blankie you cant see him but you can see his body outline. Got a picture of Emily sleeping on her dolphin and all tucked in with her blankie over her I will post later. Now its time to dole out fresh salads, feed my babies their slurries and bath them..well bath emily, geico has to bask before he will poo..emily poos as soon as she hits the bath water. Then need to put my lights up outside, and my wolf I made needs to go out into the yard. Put the sheet out on the ground and pin it down for my zombie babies, cover the park bench in black and put it in place for 3 of the zombie babies and their black cat with an orange yard ball and put out the stroller with the infant zombie baby in it and put timmy zombie baby in the swing then there will be no more to do on the yard till the weekend. So I best get my butt in gear..cant be lazy when it comes to my animals..they cant feed themselves or clean up after themselves..so guess ill do it all for them and will do it gladly to keep my babies healthy and happy.

Hope you're feeling better soon, Tonya. I'm glad Emily likes her dolphin & that Geico loves snuggling into his hammock. They're so cute when they sleep!

Im fixing to get off the laptop and get on the pc now that both are fed, bathed and pooed...salads doled out to both and micro superworms in their bug bowls and post some bathtime pictures and hope the one of Emily sleeping on her dolphin came out ok.

Here is a picture although very blurry of Emily sleeping on her dolphin..didnt feel so good last night so took it quick so I could get back in my bed and get warm:

Fresh veggie, chicken, calcium, superworm, carnivore care, slurry they get for breakfast every morning by syringe, they love it

Emily gets up, eats and has to go in the bath immediately after eating to poo, its crumbly cause of the veggies, vet said shes fine

Take her out of poo water, disinfect the tub and put her back in for a good rinse and soak

If you look closely you can just see the port wine colors on Emilys head..shes got some gorgeous coloration and hope she never loses it

Geico loves his bath and loves it when I take a cup and pour water over his back,makes him butt wiggle so the water is being poured just over the right spots lol..silly lizard

Geico pooed shortly after the pictures were taken...now both are happily fed and basking in their vivs and with bright colors

Lunch for my babies is done..they both ate dubias. I am still very sick with whatever got ahold of me, having trouble keeping anything down, even water so drinking pedialyte, have a few bottles and this one is unopened till I opened it to have some. Ribs hurt so bad from coughing and vomiting its not funny. I think every muscle in my body hurts and whatever this is, is making my lupus come to the forefront again, was in remission for a short time with it. Temp isnt to high but for me it is, my norm is 97.4 now its 100.1 so am in my bed now and will get up to feed my babies dinner and put them to bed when its time. I dont want to handle them to much with my coughing and vomiting..dont want my bug going to them.

They're so cute! Vash also had a bath today as well . He pooed but not much...:/
but glad Em and Geico are doing okay.

thanks, just wish i felt better so I could take them out and let them roam my desk, Im to scared to in case i have a URi, as it is I wear a mask when I feed them or handle them for now.

Oh Tonja! Look at Emily's lovely bath colors! So pretty :love5: Myah loves it when I pour water on her back. No wiggling though. Silly Geico! :mrgreen:

thanks to both of you..yes Emily is gorgeous, I dont know how they got her colors but they are unlike any i have ever seen..especially that port wine color which just gets more burgandy'ish, the pinky coral is not changing at all and her dark is getting darker with each shed.

I noticed that. It's like a charcoal now. It really makes her color pop and it's so nice to see two very distinct babies

Oh i know but never seen the charcoal or burgandy <port wine> in a beardie before, not that it doesnt exist, Ive just never seen it...the charcoal is a true ash color and not a lavender or blueish..but a true dark ash gray

thanks, right now in bed on my laptop. I dont know if its the flu or uri or both but definately the lupus is flaring up. I just wanna go to sleep and not wake up till this creeping crud is gone!
