Whenever I have my beardie on my shoulder, I've noticed she likes to munch on my hair... should I stop her, or will that do nothing?

I wouldn't recommended it - I once had to help my beardie untanlge & pass a 1ft+ length hair from her butt... it wasn't pleasant.

both of my beardies have chewed on my hair.
but they only did it once.

you need to help your beardie understand that your hair is not food.

Jango has tried to eat my hair once and I ended up pulling a long piece out of his mouth.. he swallowed part of it.. I try to keep my hair back away from him now

My girl did this just last night. She was on my shoulder and I kept feeling her moving weird, She had a mouth full of hair, but she didn't bite it off and was able to pull it out of her mouth. I will be careful more now that I know what she is doing.

Keep your hair pulled back into a ponytail or a bun when you have your beardie out on your shoulder, then it simply won't have the opportunity to chew on/eat your hair.

Oh my gosh...My Wolfgang seems to think that hair tastes pretty good >.>

I've lost count how many times I've had to pull a hair out of his mouth. Thankfully, most times I catch it before he has the chance to swallow it all and have it come out the *ahem* other end. But these are really long hairs he likes to swallow, and I don't know where he's getting them (maybe plucking them from the carpet of his cage). And I'm always fearful when I'm pulling one out that it might have gotten tangled somewhere and I could do some real damge pulling it, no matter how slow I go. Then I realize it could be just as harmful to just let him swallow it. I'm not sure...I'm just worried it would end up knotting up and blocking things that shouldn't be blocked.

And he's never happy when I have to yank it out. I feel bad for that, too. D:

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
