Do Beardies really use hammocks????

We are brand new to the BD family, in fact just setting up Wyatt's viv. My question is will my little guy really use a hammock? We are going to have a log leading up to his hammock which will be his basking area. :?:

I don't have a hammock but I have read a lot of people that do, thier lizard loves them. I have some suction cup vines and every night when the lights go off, my dragon goes and jumps in the vines til the lights come back on in the morning.

Good to know. My daughter wants to get Wyatt some vines so I will have to look into the suction cup ones. We are making it a "Wyatt Earp Tombstone theme" so will have to find something that complements that...if that is possible.

Buddy loves hers! No matter where it's at she is on it. Wish I would of gotten it sooner!

my little beardie sleeps in his every night and stays in it till lights on in the mornings, he gets cuddled, wrapped in his blankie and put in his hammock with his head on his pillow...during the day he plays on it with his stuffed animal.

I think if the hammock is in the viv from when they are babies they will use it.

Mr Dargon would use it to get out of his viv so i won't give him one.

Tasty Treat just does not like it. but i think if she had it when she was a baby she would be using it now.

Every dragon that I have that has a hammock loves it and sprawls out like we would if we had a hammock in our bedrooms! Even the dragons that I got that were older and did not previously have them, love them. My Rankins dragons also get on their hammocks. I even have a small hammock for my leopard gecko, just to give her something different to climb on, and she is on it very often.
