Beards are more frequent than head bobbing.
Head bobbing is generally a sign of dominance and aggression, bearding can just be a sign of your grumpy master wanting something (food/water/attention/loose women)

Some def bob more than others.... Abu has bobbed once in the 10 months we have owned her - at an oddly shaped vase. This was a slow bob, a sign of submission or perhaps even a little fear.
Kazi, on the other hand, bobs pretty constantly - a very fast, aggressive bob!! im thankful for the 10 mins per day when he has a white chin and his head stays still (he desperately wants a date with Miss Abu but she is having none of it)!! Lol! I guess it all depends on the personality of your little guy!!

lol hilarious :) can you house a male and female together or no?

No not really.
Only if you want them to mate and they should be seperated straight after.

Remember beardies are solitary and territorial creatures. They thrive alone ^_^

Just wanted to stress this point. Even separate, my lttle guy shows very aggressive behaviour whereas my female is very laid back. I assume that if I ever lost all sense and put them together, my male would probably terrorize my female. They both are healthy and get all the love and attention they need seperately so I would never risk housing them together.

:p When I adopted my little male Cooper, he didn't head bob. Once, However, after I introduced him to Popcorn and Tatty, my two females, he started bobbing. He bobs his head constantly now.

so i've read even females are risky to house together from childhood; and you should definetly have an extra viv incase they can't live together correct? so even females should be house seperatly got it!

I'm thinking about getting a baby beardie to get my lively hood outta glen can introduce them outside of their cages during "out time" or will that stress them out???

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
