So i am getting a baby this week and i thought a dish included in her tank with stuff to dig in would be fun. What would be the best? I have heard that carefresh bedding is good for them to burrow in.

I have heard of a few substrates that would work well for a digging dish. :)

-Flax seeds (digestable)
-Alfalfa pellets

I hope one of these might work!

Babies benefit from a bare and simple set up. A rock and a dish on paper towels in a 20 gallon long tank. That's it. You may have other things to worry about like the baby not eating or being scared of you. If you have such problems, you may want to hold off on a dig box.

I saw a video on YouTube with a flaxseed dig box. Looks fun :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
