Dark spots on chin

Anybody know what these dark spots are? They showed up a couple days ago. I tried to scrub them off in the bath but to no avail. Please let me know what you guys think!!

i would say possible shed

Those are perfectly normal + harmless, like skin blemishes or single scale areas of shed like Karrie mentioned. No problem there at all.

Very reassuring!! I assume this means he's gonna shed soon? He hasn't had a full body shed since February

Not necessarily. Those are more like little areas of harmless scale damage or blemishes , like we get freckles or tiny scars for whatever reason. It may change when he DOES shed though, just like a tiny scab/scar fades.
