Could it be do to stress of losing his mate-escaped-,I cleaned and slightly changed the tank-no substrate yet. Could he be stressed? As I write this he pooped-first since Sunday.....ideas...

Hmmm.... I would consider purchasing some hornworms or something. Hornworms are mostly water so they might help his bowels get 'aflowin. Otherwise, I hope he feels better!

Sol went through this same issue for about 3-4 days and pooped yesterday!
Here is what I did to help him relieve himself: I massaged his belly, put him a nice warm bath and massaged his belly a little more. He started swimming around a little, then he pooed! Baths really seem to help them go. Try the same method - gently massage your beardies belly, then fill up the bathtub with about 2 inches of warm water, put them in there and continue to massage the belly to help get things moving. It also helps if they swim around a little.
I have read that a few drops of olive oil in some organic baby food can also help. I was going to try that with Sol before he finally went.
