Well the title says it all. I started giving Smurf a bath every day or so. I noticed his poo is a LOT more wet. Is this a problem? How do you know what is too much?

I would also like to know the answer to this question. Izzy LOVES the water! He gets frequent baths (at least 5 times a week). Trys to jump from our hands, back into the water when trying to take him out. We also place a very shallow water dish in his tank for a couple hours a day for him to play in. (Don't worry, I keep an eye on the humidity. Never gets above 45%) He jumps in there and just goes crazy splashing and thrashing. He will flop his tail up and down splashing water everywhere. Then jumps out, run to the other end of his tank, turn around and at full speed run back and plop in the water and do this over and over. It is hilarious! Note to self: must get pics of this. His poops have never been runny. So I haven't been worried about him getting over-hydrated. But it would to nice to know for sure.

Naaaa all my boys have been getting baths either daily ( Gem) or every other day. All poos are quite moist, but always well formed. While I was taking care of Kuhbar, my boss's son's dragon, he got bathed sometimes twice a day, just cause he liked his "swim" time so much !

Thanks, good to know. I knew they were not desert creatures, but certainly not aquatic either.

With Kuhbar I often wondered ;) But that is fine, just as long as the poos are well formed. You can also use the eye dropper method to get more fluids into a dragon, but I haven't had the need *knock on wood head* yet ;)

Everyone on here so far says that they bathe their beardie pretty much daily. But a specialist I was talking to says not to, once or twice a week at the most is good.
Hmm..so what is the correct answer then...??

Basically each dragon can set his/her own schedule. If the urates are hard as a rock, then more bathing should be offered... Some dragons are fine with weekly baths, others still prefer daily. ;)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
