Can I add flowers to my tank?

I recently put fake vines and a fake fern but my girlfriend said it's needs more color. Would my beardie try to eat it and die or would it be fine?

Many dragons will try to eat the flowers so I'd skip them. For color, maybe try some of those beautiful large desert type rocks they sell for fish tanks and reptiles that look like they have swirls of pinkish, tan + cream color.

I was wondering exact same thing. I saw a lively green leafy plant in the supermarket an thought that would look lovely in Fuzzys cage.

Is there nothing that would be ok?

I know chameleons can have fig trees and devils ivy beardies can eat hibiscus, but not sure if it would be ok to put a whole plant in the viv?

Only if edible .... ie nasturtions , the leaves and flowers are safe to eat and high in calcium too.

I'd have the pot the roots are in out of reach JIC beardie accidentially eats some potting mix.

Yes. you have to be 100 % sure they are non toxic. I used to have a large outdoor cage with several hibiscus bushes in it. If you have a tank that's big enough, hibiscus would be fine. Add some flat fist sized rocks on top of the soil so your dragon doesn't uproot it ....beardies love to dig.
