tupperware dish should be fine for freezing. the ice cube tray sounds like a good idea, too, if you have one to spare. I have no problem chunking it out of the tupperware, though.

I just freeze mine in little tupperware containers, and when I feed Dudley I break off the chunks that I need and put them in hot water to thaw them.
