Bug man is coming

The bug man is coming to spray the house and I was wondering what I should do with my beardie. Would it be ok for him to not spray in the room or his general vicinity or what? I don't wanna poison the little guy

If you can take your beardie right out of the house that would be best. I wouldn't take a risk like that.

For how long? How long do you think it'll take to be clear?

I would ask the bug guy. How long is the family supposed to be out of the house for?

I'm gonna try to be here all day today and tomorrow (they couldn't give me a set time when he was coming) so I'll be able to see where he's spraying. I'm gonna put the dragon and roaches in a room and have him not spray in there then go back and treat that room myself.

Make sure you put a towel or something against the bottom of the door to keep any poison from getting in.

I bet you he will be staring at you awkwardly when you ask him not to spray the roaches :lol:

Yea I've been thinking of a good way to put it lol. "Just kill the bad ones. NOT those over there. Those are good bugs."

I know I touched on this in a different thread, but the bug guy at my apartment complex doesn't spray. He just does the barrier thing around the perimeter of the room. He doesn't even put it down where he can't get to. (I doubt it is that effective, but I have never had a pest bug). Its not like he is bombing our apt with spray or fog. The stuff he puts down is supposed to be non-toxic to pets once it is dry.

Has he come yet?
