Brumation?? Shredding??

I have a question my beardie is been recently shredding, but what ive noticed is that besides being moody and all she's been sleeping most mornings, is this normal for a beardie to do??
Plz give me ur opinions

she is 2 months and a half, i use Reptisun 5.0

She is definitely not brumating then.

Curiously, why the 5.0 and not 10.0?
Is your uvb on top of a screen? or mounted in the tank?

Is this uvb a coil or a linear tube?

LOL sorry i messed up it was reptiglo 10.0 mine is mounted on the tank and is coiled

You should think about changing your bulb to the reptiSUN 10.0 linear tube bulb.

First off, the reptiglos are known to cause many issues in bearded dragons, such as the ones you are experiencing with your dragon.
And to make it worse, coils are even more unsafe for them.

It would be best to just totally turn off the uvb bulb for now until you can get the reptiSUN 10.0 linear tube.

hey why is that reptiglo is bad for them? what kind of problems does it cause on the dragons? some ppl say is good some that is bad, is depending all on the dragon right? because i remember when i first got my beardie i bought her with the set up as well, and the guy said that the lights were okay, and my beardie barely started just sleeping during the day when she started shredding, but before she didnt she would stay there under the light all day. is it because they are more sensible when they are shedding?

The problems with Reptiglos is that they have been linked to the exact problem you are having.

Eye problems, lethargicness, wanting to hide, MBD.
Was the guy who said it was ok also the guy who was selling it to you...?

Yea i know, im gonna start taking her out in the sun for most of the day and try to use the light i have right now the least possible until i get a reptisun 10.0
