We saw all kinds but my phone with its insanely draining issue I couldn't take pics but we saw Antelopes, Zebras, Lions but road closed off because they were introducing cubs to the pride they were taking care if their cubs not sure why couldn't the mom do that? Goats, Bears, Lemurs, Cheetahs and Tigers. The black bear was hibernating still so no one could see him. There were monkeys, reindeers, big horns, buffalos, giraffes oh yeah the hippos. The lady was trying to get them to feed so people could see them but they were not having it...they wanted to stay in the water. It was funny! We saw yaks too. Ostriches and emus too. Elephants as well. It was fun. Today we only went to Newport to see the sea lions which were out. Whales too. So another fun day.

Guys OMG he is 27g! This is awesome! He is gaining more than 1 he was 24 last week.

He gets his bugs 2x a day and greens/veggies 1x a day.
Maybe he's a slow gainer. He went from 1 to 2 now he's gaining 3 grams. I'm not sure. Yes, 15 minutes each bug feeding. I did 10 minutes once but I realized 15 is better.

You might want to up the bugs to 3x a day for 15 min each if you can manage. He's gaining well but should be eating more. At his age 3x a day is good for him. Breakfast, lunch and supper. Give it a try to see if he gains more weight. Try it for a week, see how he does.

Well at least hes clear on parasites of any kind so thats not it.

He ate 17 roaches in 15 minutes so let's see what lunch will be. I hope it's more than 17. I'm trying my best so I'm doing it right. I know it's a low number of grams but he is gaining more than 1. I'm happy about that. Never had a chance to weigh my old man Vash.

My mom is celebrating her birthday today (it's really on Wednesday the 25th). My sister and I ordered a cake in Bandon for her (30 minute drive) so we're going to get it later today. Broly is not coming but he is celebrating when we sing happy birthday.

He had a good time at the wedding in his outdoor enclosure last Sunday. Broly was just enjoying the rays from the sun.
No worries the holes were big enough to let uvb through. He really liked the commotion going on with everyone
there. I mean, he really enjoyed everybody even the husband, he liked him more than anyone besides me. So during the ceremony of toasting Broly had stayed on his shoulder the whole time. Didn't move or get startled at anytime just stayed there. I was amazed with him. It was risky letting him out Im sorry but he did well.

Wow, that is awesome that he sat on the groom's shoulder the whole toasting, Broly is a little marvel, he has a great personality. Good choice Kami!

You're doing great with Broly, he was small to begin with, so the gains he's making are just awesome! I'm glad you're feeding as many bugs as he'll eat. And he already eats greens, plus you give him baby food, so he's all set! He's got a great Mom in you Kami, never forget that!

And he'll always gets some sun through the mesh of the outside enclosure, no worries there. He gets lots of sun in his tank to begin with and I know you get him outside when weather permits. Won't be be so glad to finally have sunny days with warm weather? I haven't been able to get my crew outside at all, just sometimes open the balcony door if it's warm, but it's turned very cool lately, lots of rain and overcast, so they're stuck with their sunshine in their tanks for now. Hopefully it gets warm soon. I'm still wearing my winter coat!

Cierra still isn't eating much, but she has grown an inch so she's 16" long now and she's holding steady at 261g. That's still small for a 1 yr old beardie, but she's getting there. I've stopped ordering those big amounts of crickets, and I'm just about to see if she'll eat some that are left. If not, she is eating her small supers.

Never less amount of bugs. Yes baby food every other day turkey with sweet potato. He really likes it. He is a bit small when be was 4 months. He got a bit bigger since then not too much but he did. It's supposed to rain here til Tuesday. i did bring home the enclosure the groom made. So when it starts to hit spring temps he'll go outside in the enclosure. i still watch but since I have phobia of wasps and bees I don't like outside. Bugs can get in his enclosure so he has to be watched. I got stung by them as a child..I don't remember messing with them though. I will probably sit in the car while he's outside, it's not too far away from him.
I'll find someway.

It must've been a fluke! He hasn't pooped on them since Friday. I put one every morning and say "go here" but he's doing it on his repti carpet again. I gave him a waxworm when he did it he's just not doing it now. So no waxworm..I don't give him a waxworm every time he goes, I give him a fruitfly if he would go again. I culture my own fruitflies as treats. I know I'm a good mom, Deb thank you! My mom says thank you.

I like the weight he's gaining also like the weight Im losing. I lost at least 15 pounds. I don't eat red meat (much) and I rarely drink soda that's all. It's weird I don't work out and already lost 15 pounds.

Good for you! That's a good amount of weight. I've lost 13 lbs and now only need to lose 20 more to get back to my best weight, giving myself 2 years to do that, I lose very slowly & already don't eat alot.

I gave him his baby food for the extra protein.
8 roaches as well. So he's filled up and I need to post
more pics of how big he got since turning 5 months. I should do a full body shot at some point so you can see.

My gerbil caught a cold (not from us) so he went to my vet (the same guy who treats Broly). Turns out pneumonia is in him so we got meds to give him. He's doing slightly better than Saturday. He's at least drinking because he wouldn't he's eating a little bit not as much as he used to. He's already 1 year old; he'll be 2 years in June.

My betta fish is going strong she isnt dead yet. My scissortails are looking well they don't seem to bother her
anymore they just swim by her which is fun. My eel is fine he's 10 months old, so he'll be a year in May.

He ate 3 crix might be because he ate 40 last night and has not pooped yet. He waves in his bath Idk why but he does. He then tries to swim out he doesn't like baths because I'm always scrubbing his tail (always yellow scales) and he hates it. I love my cricket thirsty saiyan beardie. I've been calming down a lot more and enjoying him as if what happened in the past didnt matter. Vash did matter to me and Alucard but I mean the worst part of owning Alucard it's like it didnt matter. It's hard to let what happened go but after talking to my therapist it's slowly going away and able to enjoy Broly. It's not enjoyable to take care of someone and you keep (well because of my condition I keep things longer than most people) thinking about what happened, happens to the next dragon. I miss the old days of not doing anything when I was 17 just take care of Vash without a care of YF or Adeno, parasites/worms. To be honest, I never knew these existed when I was that age. So I'm gonna go back to when I didn't know them and enjoy Broly till they happen to him.

You're not the only one who can't let things go. I still haven't gotten over the loss of Rubio and Didi. Lonzo was different, he was old and I know he's better off. But Rubio and Didi was only 6 years old, so that's hard to let go. I do my best but I still obsess sometimes. I'm glad your therapist is helping you get past it and enjoy Broly for the healthy little guy he is. He has a huge personality and love to hear that he waves in the bath :mrgreen: The waves are like ballet. None of mine wave to anyone or anything :roll:

Wow, he ate 40 bugs last night? He's probably still digesting them.

Cierra has decided not to eat, it's weird, she was an eating machine for 4 weeks, now she hardly eats anything. I have to go out for a bit, then I'm going to feed her & Nathaniel. He managed to poop in this food dish, again, that was full of roaches. Luckily I was home & got it all cleaned up, but he's not getting bugs in his tank anymore. Enough of that, I say! I have to figure out a different place to put his dish or just never mind and feed him, yuck!
