i use a 10 gallon tank and 100 adults.
I also use the metal with plastic lid chinese food containers I would normally discard after dinner for egg laying containers.
Line the upper corners with vasoline to avoid climbers.
add wet sand to the egg container and add to the tank.
add climbing surfaces (such as egg cartons, toilet or paper towel rolls. etc.)
i use the chicken mash for food and carrots as a water source.
Keep adults in the 88-92 range
at 7-10 days pull the egg container, dampen the sand, install the lid and place it in an area that says 90-92 degreees. i keep mine in my a/v cabinet.
At about 9-12 days you should see tiny black pin sized dots moving on the sand.
place container in new aqurium and remove lid. Allow egg container in that tank for a few days and crickets will leave on their own.
My tanks are in an incubator ( a big wood box basically) I use for raising insects in my house.
