Beardie is shedding, help!

Hi everyone, I just bought my baby bearded dragon 3 days ago. He is now shedding. Should I give him a bath or wait a little? Because he is still getting used to me and used to eating in his new home. Thank you!

No. Let him deal with his shedding skin naturally by rubbing and scratching and crawling over stuff.
A few bits of shed tree bark (esp if its got a very rough surface) , and some larger dropped tree trigs and branches (esp if they have sharp pointy bits) or some rough stones (even rough surfaced pavers) will all help.

Their first few sheds as hatchlings are very impressive looking like skin explosions. The frequency of the shedding will slow down as they move from being hatchlings to juveniles to teenagers to adults.

I only bath my beardies if :
--- they have soiled themselves
--- experiencing extremely hot days (to help them thermoregulate)
--- they need real help to loosen a stubborn area of shed
--- to help a impacted lizard
--- to give a butadiene soak when it's got an open injury

My two youngest beardies Peppa and Toothless who we bought from a local breeder at 5 weeks old are about 14 months old now and have never needed a bath and are perfectly fine and health and don't smell at all.

You can spritz him in the tank twice a day, that can also help him shed and it's important for them to drink the water droplets. Just a quick spray, the tank itself should not get wet all over.
